I've covered the Annual P.F. quite well...but we have a few other Christmas Eve traditions.
We open our one special present, which happens to be jammies (as shown above), driving around to look at the lights and laugh and talk, reading "The Night Before Christmas", reading about the birth of Jesus in Luke 2, watching a Christmas movie (spiritual or otherwise (ELF) ), and pigging out some more. Let's see, that's about 7 or more things we try to cram into one evening. This year we spent the majority of our time eating, laughing, and driving around...so we opened our jammies and called it good. I will deal with the guilt of it not being a "proper" Christmas Eve, i.e., Scriptures and Reenactment, and remember the good times. It was so good to be together; properly or not!
